I have been going back through old doodles and drawings in my sketchbook that I had abandoned for some reason, and renewing my efforts. No telling what will come next but there should be something soon!

So these days the only art I get around to is with crayons and construction paper. I have to make a display for my classroom door every month, and another for the class notebook. Every art project I coordinate for my students has to take into account the fact that about half of them will eat the crayons if I'm not paying attention (I had always assumed that crayon wax was not water soluble, but apparently if you chew long enough it all becomes homogeneous). Maybe I'll try to post some of the class art projects in lieu of me actually doing art. Update: I posted Classroom Labels 1, 2, and 3 and a toon of my assistant teacher.

Okay, so I'm doing a series of pinup Alice in Wonderland characters. I took some liberty with the genders (namely, they're all women now), and the costumes are a hybrid of book, movie, and my own imagination.
